Jennifer Beedon Snow continues to explore suburban spaces. Painted in a sketchy, evocative style, the clear blue waters of swimming pools, bikes discarded casually where dropped, and windswept trees conjure up distant dreams and memories. Oil paint applied in heavy impasto, pulled and manipulated with a palette knife, blurs the tightly realistic elements and often contradicts the subject matter.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Beedon Snow holds a BFA from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Her work can be found in many public and private collections, including the City of Seattle and the 4Culture Harborview Medical Center collection.
