Gaylen Hansen has consistently put forth work that solidified his reputation as one of the nation's premier artists. Linda Hodges Gallery has exhibited his exceptional work for over 25 years.

 

Born in Garland, Utah, he received an MFA from the University of Southern California, and taught at Washington State University for 25 years until his retirement in 1982. Hansen has exhibited in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Berlin, and throughout the Northwest. His paintings are in numerous public and private collections in the USA, and he has received several prestigious awards, including the Flintridge Foundation Awards for Visual Artists in 2001. He was the featured subject of a two-year traveling exhibition in 2007-08, titled "Gaylen Hansen: Three Decades of Paintings."
