   Paul Harcharik received his BFA from East Carolina University, Greenville, North Carolina in 1973. In 1975 he graduated from Pennsylvania State University, University Park, Pennsylvania with an MFA. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including a WESTFA/NEA Fellowship, a Seattle Artist Trust Grant and the Juror's Award from the The Halpert Biennial at Appalachia State University, Boone, North Carolina. Harcharik's work is in many Public and Corporate collections, including the Tacoma Art Museum, the Microsoft Corporation, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, England.
