George Little and David Lewis started their creative collaboration in 1992 with the medium of concrete to create original and mysterious two and three dimensional artworks. A formidable material, concrete offered them an astonishing variety of forms and textures and the results demonstrate their masterful control of the medium. Reflecting concrete as liquid and solid states the technique used in the sculptures are unique . Concrete dyes, latex paints and acrylic stains are used in the concrete mixes. As a result, very intense hues characterize their columnar sculptures and fountains as well as their monumental leaf sculptures. The concrete paintings and reliefs in the show are done with acrylic and colored pencil depicting sensual images of nature and celebrating a connoiseurship of plants and flower.
