Affiliated Artist    Shelley Jordon    In her most recent work, Jordon's skies have begun to dominate her compositions, pushing the still life objects out of the paintings altogether. What remains are clouds and atmosphere, evocative of the more open, less defined, "infinite space" most often associated with Eastern paintings. The cloud paintings, often grouped in a grid or a row, record the passage of time and season as well as the transient nature of beauty.
