Affiliated Artist    Robert Calvo    Robert Calvo was born in Galveston, Texas in 1949. He worked in California as a commercial artist, graphic designer and boat builder. In 1979, he moved to Florida and two years later received his B.A. in art with honors, from the University of South Florida at Tampa. He presently resides in Portland, Oregon. He has had a prolific career, showing in numerous solo and group exhibitions. His art is a part of many renown collections including the Tampa Museum of Art, the Norton Gallery in West Palm Beach, Microsoft and Barnett Bank. Most notably,Calvo received honors from the National Endowment for the Arts twice, thus far in his career. Recently, he has been especially sought after to create large scale public works throughout the U.S.
