Affiliated Artist    Margaretha Bootsma   Images   |   Resume     Born in the Netherlands, Margaretha Bootsma has lived and worked in Vancouver, B. C. most of her adult life. She draws inspiration within the context of the immediate surroundings, studying local geology and current events. She received her B.F. A. from Emily Carr School of Art in Vancouver and currently teaches there. Bootsma is represented throughout Canada, including Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, and Vancouver.
