   Deborah Barrett
   Barrett works in mixed media with her images based on photographic portraits from the 19th Century. Using these historical images Barrett seems to be recasting the past in her own interpretation.

Barrett was born in Detroit, Michigan. She received a B.A. in creative writing at Wayne State University. Barrett has exhibited in Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Mill Valley, Los Angeles and New York.
