In "Witness," David French focuses on the process, and his following comments bring an interesting perspective to the work. "My approach to an ongoing exploration of working with painted wood sculpture in my studio is a relatively straightforward process. Intuitively I know how to start and when to stop; it is between these two points that I struggle to discover, create, and find a sense of order and balance."
